Cash Application Specialist

Tarvos Talent is partnering with a growing services organization to hire a Cash Applications Specialist in Round Rock, TX. This is a primarily in‑office role with flexibility after ramp‑up, offering strong leadership support, a collaborative team culture, and long‑term stability within a company experiencing rapid growth through acquisition. Responsibilities

• Apply daily cash receipts accurately across multiple customer accounts and entities
• Research and resolve unapplied cash, short pays, and payment discrepancies
• Communicate with customers via phone and email regarding payment inquiries
• Partner with AR, billing, and internal teams to ensure accurate posting and resolution
• Maintain detailed documentation with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness
• Assist with process improvements as the company continues to scale

Qualifications

• 3 years of cash applications or related accounts receivable experience
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; basic Excel skills required (formatting, formulas, data manipulation)
• Experience with Great Plains or HighRadius is a plus, but not required
• Team‑oriented, inquisitive, and comfortable asking questions in a collaborative setting
