Accounting Manager

Tarvos Talent is partnering with a growing client in the Galveston area to find a Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager for their team. Core Responsibilities:

• Support month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting activities.
• Assist with fixed asset accounting and ensure accurate reporting across assigned areas.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance accounting processes.
• Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to support reporting, analysis, and ongoing business needs.

What You’ll Bring:

• 3 years of accounting experience with a strong foundation in GAAP, general ledger work, and month-end close.
• Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to work with large data sets, pivot tables, and lookup functions.
• Experience with process improvement, automation, or accounting system enhancements is highly valued.
