Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Roofing Project Manager to oversee and manage roofing projects from start to finish. This role is responsible for supervising crews, ensuring projects are completed according to scope and specifications, maintaining timelines, and serving as the primary point of contact on job sites. This position will require occasional out-of-town travel, including overnight stays, depending on project needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise roofing crews to ensure productivity, safety, and quality standards are met.
- Oversee all phases of commercial roofing projects according to scope of work and contract specifications.
- Coordinate daily job site activities and ensure efficient time management.
- Prepare and submit daily progress reports, including detailed updates and photo documentation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Schedule and meet with inspectors to ensure all required inspections are completed and passed.
- Travel out of town, including overnight stays, as needed to oversee projects and support job site operations.
- Identify and resolve job site issues proactively to avoid delays.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Monitor material usage and coordinate deliveries as needed.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in commercial roofing project management (or similar role).
- Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems and installation processes.
- Proven ability to manage crews and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Experience with reporting tools and photo documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness and ability to travel out of town, including overnight stays, when required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- OSHA certificationExperience working with inspectors and permitting processes.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
