Human Resources Director
We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and proactive Human Resources leader to serve as a strategic HR Director and a key supporter of the senior leadership team. This role is responsible for the full HR life cycle, compliance oversight, and day-to-day HR operations, while also contributing to the execution of organizational strategy. The ideal candidate brings strong HR expertise, a high level of professionalism, and the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for HR policies, procedures, and employee relations.
- Oversee full employee life cycle processes—including onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
- Maintain accurate and compliant employee and applicant documentation in accordance with all federal and state regulations.
- Ensure compliance with USCIS Form I-9 requirements; conduct periodic internal audits.
- Process payroll changes and manage bi-weekly payroll.
- Support recruitment, hiring, retention initiatives, and workforce planning.
- Administer employee benefits including COBRA for group health plans.
- Track and document all employee disciplinary actions.
- Manage unemployment claims, including timely processing of notices and participation in hearings when required.
- Monitor and process eligible salary adjustments and pay changes.
- Maintain and monitor workers’ compensation files; ensure timely follow-up on open cases.
- Manage and maintain HRIS data integrity and generate HR and workforce reporting for leadership decision-making.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement a corporate internal communications strategy, including regular company-wide updates.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving employment legislation to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
- Partner closely with the CFO and senior leadership team on HR-related initiatives and special projects.

- Proven hands-on experience supporting HR operations in a professional environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong internal relationships.
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, resourceful, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of federal and state employment law and HR compliance requirements.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
- Strong ability to take initiative and operate independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable multitasking and resolving issues in real time as needs arise.
- A positive, people-focused mindset with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of progressive HR experience; additional HR training or specialization a plus.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and ethical judgment skills.
- Demonstrated experience managing HR procedures, problem-solving, and employee support.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms; ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
