Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and strategic Human Resources (HR) Director to lead our organization’s HR initiatives and foster a vibrant, compliant, and high-performing workplace. Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies aligned with organizational goals, including talent management, succession planning, and organizational design.
- Oversee talent acquisition processes from sourcing to onboarding using HRIS systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM to attract top talent efficiently.
- Manage employee relations by addressing conflicts, conducting employee evaluations, and facilitating effective communication across teams.
- Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws such as OSHA and FMLA regulations while managing workers' compensation claims and benefits administration.
- Lead performance management initiatives including employee evaluation systems, training & development programs, and performance improvement plans.
- Supervise payroll processing using platforms like ADP, Paychex, or Paylocity; oversee benefits administration and HRIS data collection for accurate reporting.
- Drive process improvements in HR operations through change management practices and program management to optimize efficiency.
- Provide guidance on contracts, negotiations, and policy development to support organizational objectives while ensuring legal compliance.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning initiatives related to human capital management and organizational effectiveness.
Experience
- Proven experience in human resources management with a minimum of several years in senior leadership roles such as HR Director or equivalent.
- Demonstrated success in supervising HR teams and managing complex HR functions including recruiting, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance.
- Extensive knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA standards, workers' compensation procedures, and HR best practices across diverse industries.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization; experience in contract negotiations is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms such as Workday, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, UltiPro, Taleo or similar systems for data analysis and process automation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly to senior leadership and facilitate effective training sessions.
