Your Role
The Preconstruction Coordinator provides administrative, technical, and logistical support to the Preconstruction and Estimating teams. This position manages bid solicitations, organizes project documentation, assists with subcontractor outreach, and supports estimating activities for Core & EIC construction across multiple concurrent projects.

Your Role
The Preconstruction Coordinator provides administrative, technical, and logistical support to the Preconstruction and Estimating teams. This position manages bid solicitations, organizes project documentation, assists with subcontractor outreach, and supports estimating activities for Core & EIC construction across multiple concurrent projects.
What You'll Do
Bid Coordination & Subcontractor Management
- Issue subcontractor and supplier bid invitations and track responses.
- Monitor bid coverage across trades and ensure adequate participation.
- Maintain and update subcontractor databases.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for subcontractors.
- Monitor solicitations and ensure timely submissions.
- Support preparation and submission of bidding documents and assist with bid day activities.
- Assist in tracking subcontractor pre-qualifications.
- Organize project plans, specifications, and related documents.
- Monitor and distribute project documents including plans, specifications, addenda, and related updates.
- Set up projects in systems and maintain estimating and preconstruction logs.
- Prepare RFI logs, meeting minutes, and issue bid documents.
- Assist estimators with estimating tasks and document preparation.
- Prepare responses to proposals, RFQs/RFPs, and presentations.
- Support estimate preparation and bid day activities.
- Assist in preparation of preconstruction deliverables.
- Track SBE/DBE/MBE/WBE good faith requirements.
- Prepare compliance forms and reports.
- Coordinate bid bonds and related requirements.
- Coordinate subcontractor outreach activities including vendor appreciation events and vendor awards.
- Perform administrative tasks such as budget management and data collection.
- Assist with onboarding and training activities.

Experience
- Construction industry experience preferred.
- Experience supporting estimating, preconstruction, or project coordination activities is helpful.
- Ability to read and understand construction documents including plans and specifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
- Bluebeam and/or Procore experience preferred.
- Primarily office environment with occasional jobsite visits.
- May require walking jobsites, exposure to weather and loud environments, and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- May lift or move materials up to 25 lbs.
- Work hours may vary based on project and bid schedules.
- Travel may occasionally be required based on project assignment.
