Role 1: Structural Analysis / Stress Engineer (2–4 Years)
Responsibilities:
- Apply structural analysis principles to assess structural adequacy and compliance.
- Perform analyses including:
- Finite Element Modeling (FEM)
- Static and fatigue analysis
- Damage tolerance analysis
- Thermal and vibration analysis
- Structural testing support
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and post-delivery support teams.
- Support compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of experience in structural analysis or stress engineering.
- Working knowledge of aerospace materials and structural behavior.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required).
- Aerospace or commercial aircraft exposure is highly desirable.
Role 2: Structural Analysis / Stress Engineer (5–10 Years)
Responsibilities:
- Lead and perform advanced structural and stress analyses for flight vehicle structures.
- Develop, integrate, document, and evaluate aircraft structural designs for:
- Performance and functional adequacy
- Cost effectiveness and manufacturability
- Regulatory and customer compliance
- Contribute across primary and secondary structures, payloads, weights, and lofting.
- Work closely with design, manufacturing, and certification teams.
Requirements:
- 5–10 years of experience in aerospace structural analysis and design.
- Strong background in metallic structures.
- Proficiency with CATIA and Boeing design processes.
- ENOVIA experience.
- Experience on Boeing or Spirit commercial aircraft programs (within the last 10 years).
- Primary structures experience is essential.
- Exposure to aero structures, product development, and new design is highly valued.
- Commercial OEM experience (Boeing, Airbus, or Spirit) preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required).
- Engineering degree strongly preferred over drafter/technician backgrounds.
