Job Title: Structural Analysis / Stress Engineer Experience Level: 2–10 yearsLocation: Wichita, KSContract: 6 months (with potential extension)Pay Range: $60/hr – $70/hr (based on experience)Job SummaryWe are seeking Structural Analysis / Stress Engineers with 2–10 years of experience to support and lead aircraft structural analysis activities. In this role, you will apply engineering principles, materials science, and analytical tools to evaluate structural adequacy, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate closely with design, manufacturing, and post-delivery teams. Work involves performing analyses such as:Finite Element Modeling (FEM)Static analysisFatigue and damage tolerance analysisVibration and modal analysisThermal analysisMaterials technology assessmentsStructural testing and correlation Engineers with more experience will take on leadership responsibilities, more complex analysis tasks, and oversight of design engineering integration.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform structural analyses (static, fatigue, FEM, vibration, thermal, materials, etc.) to ensure structural adequacy.Develop, integrate, document, and evaluate structural analysis results for compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.Collaborate with design engineering teams to guide structural design decisions.Support manufacturing engineering with analysis input and production issue resolution.Participate in testing, validation, and correlation of structural models.Senior engineers will lead analysis work, guide junior engineers, and support complex design programs.Required Qualifications (All Levels)2–10 years of experience in structural analysis or stress engineering.Strong understanding of structural mechanics, materials behavior, and finite element principles.Experience with:Finite element modelingStatic, fatigue, and damage tolerance analysisVibration and thermal analysisStructural test interpretationAbility to evaluate structures for performance, manufacturability, and compliance.Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering preferred).Additional Requirements for Senior-Level Candidates (5–10 years)Strong background in metallic aircraft structure analysis.Experience supporting fuselage or primary aircraft structures.Familiarity with OEM-level engineering processes and tools.Recent (within 10 years) experience in commercial aircraft structural programs preferred.Experience in aero structures, new product development, and advanced design analysis.Background in commercial aircraft OEM or Tier 1 supplier environments strongly preferred.What We’re Looking ForEngineers with solid foundations in aero structures, structural mechanics, and product development.Candidates who can support new design work, not just legacy production.Strong analytical thinkers who collaborate well in design–analysis–manufacturing environments.Apply Today!Send your resume to:deandre.vanrensburg@tappwfs.comyasmine.maazouzi@tappwfs.com or call: 1 902 801 0783
