What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Data Collector position at TAPCo?
Overview
This is a rare opportunity to start a job at an entry level position that will provide you the training to develop into a specialized career. You will be doing on site inspections of property by reviewing for accuracy, measuring exterior building dimensions, record construction types, note structural conditions, looking for new improvements or unrecorded additions, and taking/organizing digital pictures of said properties.
Responsibilities
- Property Inspections: Travel to assigned parcels to perform on-site physical inspections of properties.
- Data Collection: Measure exterior building dimensions, record construction types, note structural conditions, and spot new improvements or unrecorded additions.
- Mapping & Routing: Plan daily travel routes to ensure efficient and timely field coverage.
- Record Updating: Draw property sketches, update digital appraisal cards, and take/organize pictures of properties.
- Public Interaction: Answer property owner questions courteously in the field.
Qualifications
- Certifications: Valid driver’s license proof of car insurance.
- Skills: Basic math, strong interpersonal communication for dealing with the public, basic computer literacy.
- Physical Demands: Ability to walk uneven terrain, climb stairs, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
