We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Scientist I to join our dynamic team in Santa Clara. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in scientific principles and methodologies, demonstrating the ability to conduct experiments, analyze data, and contribute to innovative research projects.

Role: Scientist I

Your Main Responsibilities As a Scientist I

• Under close supervision, conducts lab experiments following safety guidelines.
• Work from and understand protocols provided.
• Appropriately documents experimental details in eLN and follows RMD guidance documents for ensuring data integrity.
• May provide experiment details and conclusions for design history files.
• May troubleshoot issues related to experiments.
  
  

What we are looking for in a Scientist I:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field
• Function: Assay Development
• Min years: 0-5 years
• Soft skills: strong critical thinking and problem solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail, effective communication and interpersonal skills to work across a multitude of functional areas, good organizational skills, self-motivated and able to manage time effectively to meet project timelines, can work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced timeline driven environment
• Hard skills: expertise in DNA/RNA isolation, proficiency in PCR, qPCR, and digital PCR applications preferred, strong proficiency in data analysis using statistical tools (e.g. JMP)
