Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to support core HR functions, including employee record management, time tracking, and onboarding. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining compliance and confidentiality across all HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Employee Records Management
- Maintain and update digital and physical employee files in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of personnel data across HRIS platforms.
- Time & Attendance Tracking
- Monitor and reconcile employee time records, PTO, and attendance logs.
- Collaborating with payroll and department leads to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely reporting.
- Onboarding & Offboarding
- Coordinate onboarding logistics, including new hire documentation, orientation scheduling, and system access setup.
- Support offboarding procedures, ensuring proper documentation and exit interviews are completed.
- Bilingual Communication
- Translate HR documents and facilitate communication between English- and Spanish-speaking employees.
- Assist in delivering training and onboarding sessions in both languages as needed.
- Administrative Support
- Prepare reports, maintain HR calendars, and assist with compliance audits.
- Support HR initiatives related to employee engagement, recognition, and training.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in HR administration or related field.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and time tracking software (e.g., ADP, BambooHR).
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
- Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a multi-site or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with labor law and compliance documentation.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and processes.
