General Manager - Tank Burger

Job Summary

Tank Burger is seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations and help create an exceptional experience for both our guests and team members. The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant performance, including team leadership, staffing, customer service, food quality, safety, and financial success.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations to ensure Tank Burger runs efficiently and provides excellent guest service.
• Lead, train, coach, and develop restaurant team members to maintain a strong and positive work environment.
• Manage staffing needs, including scheduling and interviewing
• Ensure food quality, presentation, and service standards are consistently met.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels, food costs, labor costs, and operational expenses.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and maintaining proper product levels.
• Handle guest concerns and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
• Ensure restaurant cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance meet Tank Burger standards.
• Communicate effectively with ownership and leadership regarding operations, staffing, and business needs.
• Implement company policies, procedures, and training standards.
• Review sales, labor, and operational reports to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Create a positive team culture built on accountability, respect, and teamwork.
• Assist with special events, promotions, and restaurant growth initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of Tank Burger.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant management experience required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with scheduling, inventory management, and cost control preferred.
• Ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Must be dependable, professional, and committed to providing excellent service.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
