A healthcare network in New York City is looking to fill an immediate need at one of its Educational Services in Manhattan with the addition of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP).About the Opportunity:Start Date: ASAPAssignment Length: Ongoing (Contract to Hire)Schedule: Monday to Friday - Full time Hours: Flexible (8hrs per day)Patient Population: Pediatrics/Young Adults - IDD/DDResponsibilities:Provide speech, language, feeding, and AAC therapy per IEP goals.Develop and implement therapeutic interventions and feeding plans.Assess, document, and monitor progress; complete evaluations and update goals.Collaborate with parents, teachers, and medical professionals.Support AAC device documentation and authorizations.Perform related duties as assigned. Requirements:NYSED license as Speech-Language Pathologist.TSHH or TSSLD certification.Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills; MS Office proficiency.Preferred:ASHA CCC-SLP certification.Experience with AAC, oral motor, feeding/swallowing, speech motor disorders, PROMPT, and working with students with complex needs.
