Talking with Tori Speech Therapy is a boutique, pediatric private practice serving families across the Bronx and Westchester County. Founded by a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist, the practice was built with the belief that therapy should feel positive, fun and truly effective.
We specialize in early childhood communication, articulation and phonological disorders, motor speech disorders (including Childhood Apraxia of Speech), and language development. Our work is play-based, evidence-based, and family-centered, with sessions delivered in natural environments such as homes and schools.
Role Description
This is a part-time, mobile role for a Speech-Language Pathologist serving pediatric clients across the Bronx and Lower Westchester. The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide evidence-based speech and language therapy in home- and school-based settings. Responsibilities include developing individualized treatment plans, monitoring and documenting client progress, collaborating with families and other professionals, and maintaining timely, accurate records in accordance with best clinical practices. The role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to grow alongside a fast-expanding boutique private practice.
Qualifications
•Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
•Active New York State SLP license
•ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence
•Pediatric experience required (early intervention, preschool, and/or school-aged children)
•PROMPT training and/or PROMPT certification strongly preferred
•Experience with articulation, phonological disorders, language delays, and motor speech disorders
•Ability to work independently in a mobile setting (home- and school-based sessions)
•Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
•Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the Bronx and Lower Westchester
•Professional, dependable, and collaborative approach to care
