A hospital system in South Jersey is currently seeking a Rheumatologist for a promising opportunity with their growing team.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Standard business
- Setting: Outpatient
- Call: 1:6 weeks, will do inpatient rounding this week
Responsibilities:
The Rheumatologist will be responsible for:
- Evaluate, diagnose and provide appropriate treatment and patient care
- Diagnosing and treating various rheumatology disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, gout, vasculitis, lupus, tendonitis, scleroderma, osteoporosis, myositis, and more
- Recommend and order lab tests including X-rays of the joints to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition
- Prescribe anti-inflammatory drugs and other medications
- Participate in medical staff educational programs and meetings
- Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Current unrestricted NJ medical license
- BE/BC in Rheumatology (MD/DO)
