Unit Overview
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients with rheumatologic and autoimmune diseases in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Serve as a key educator for medical students, residents, and fellows through Cooper Medical School of Rowan University.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to clinical research, if desired.
- Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with orthopaedics, primary care, dermatology, nephrology, and other specialties.
Short Description
Cooper University Health Care, South Jersey's premier academic health system, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Rheumatologist to join our expanding Division of Rheumatology. This is a full-time academic and clinical position based in Camden, NJ, with potential for additional practice at satellite offices.
The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team focused on excellence in patient care, medical education, and clinical research. Our division provides comprehensive care for patients with a wide range of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.

License/ Certification Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency and Rheumatology fellowship.
- Board certified or board eligible in Rheumatology.
- Eligible for licensure in the state of New Jersey.
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care and academic excellence.
The New Jersey Pay Transparency Act requires disclosure of the pay range for this position.
