Responsibilities:
The Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) / Pharmacy Manager will:
- Pharmacy Manager (PIC) will oversee pharmacy operations, ensure safe and compliant medication practices, and support patient care within our specialty pharmacy environment. This role works closely with Intake, Referral Services, Nursing/Clinical teams, Reimbursement, and Pharmacy Operations.
Qualifications:
- Massachusetts Pharmacist License
- BS or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
- Strong understanding of specialty therapies and patient qualification processes
- Experience supervising or working closely with pharmacy technicians
- 3 years in Specialty, Infusion, Mail Order, Hospital, or similar pharmacy settings
- Experience in specialty pharmacy operations, payer requirements, and clinical coordination
Desired Skills:
- Connecticut Pharmacist License
