A New Jersey-based health services system is seeking a licenseD Physician Assistant (PA) to join their inpatient surgical services team in Newark.
About the Opportunity:
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: 7am to 4pm
Setting: Inpatient hospital
Responsibilities:
Provide inpatient wound consultations and follow-up rounds
Perform wound debridement at the bedside and in the operating room
Apply negative pressure wound therapy, including wound vacs
Prepare patients for operative wound debridement and coordinate related care
Collaborate with the surgical team on treatment plans, wound management, and clinical documentation in Epic
Qualifications:
NJS Physician Assistant (PA) license
Current, relevant wound care experience as a Physician Assistant (PA)
Active Wound care certification
Experience with wound debridement and negative pressure wound therapy
Ability to work collaboratively in an inpatient surgical setting
Salary : $100 - $110
