Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily production line operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets
- Maintain and enforce work procedures and employee safety programs
- Foster a collaborative, team-oriented work environment across all functions
- Partner with Quality and Sanitation to ensure compliance with GMP and food safety standards
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and provide direction to production teams
- Coach, mentor, and develop production leads and frontline employees
- Manage labor, equipment, and materials to ensure efficient operations
- Monitor and manage work-in-process inventory through ERP systems
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including LEAN practices and efficiency gains
- Support capital projects and operational improvement efforts
- Ensure adherence to production standards, processes, and performance expectations
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and production workflows
- Knowledge of food safety standards (BRC, SQF preferred)
- Ability to lead, coach, and develop teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Financial acumen with ability to understand cost drivers
- Experience with ERP and OEE systems preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Adaptable and able to respond effectively to changing business needs
