Tamarack Family Services is looking to add a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to our exceptional team in Coeur d’Alene, ID! This individual will have the opportunity to give input and have a hand in future developments at Tamarack.


We are excited to offer this position as a hybrid role (2-3 days remote & remaining days in person).

Qualified candidates must have a Master's degree in a related field and hold an active BCBA certification.


Opportunity for sign on bonus after being with the company for a minimum of 6 months.


Board Certified Behavior Analyst Benefits:

  • Compensation: $60,000-$70,000 per year plus bonus opportunities

  • Operations department which handles all administrative duties (e.g., client intakes, HR, billing, credentialing/contracting, authorizations, RBT training and scheduling, releases of information, etc.)
  • Individual office space provided
  • Access to an extensive library of free CEUs; additional 2 free CEUs every 14 weeks in connection with our partnership with Capella University
  • Regular support and training from our Clinical Director as well as weekly collaborative BCBA meetings
  • Lead RBT assistants to help you with indirect tasks (material prep, RBT support, CentralReach tasks, etc.) so that you can prioritize clinical work
  • 14 working days of PTO per year plus additional holidays off

Board Certified Behavior Analyst Duties:

  • Provide a minimum of 25 hours/week of billable work
  • Maintain a caseload size of 250 hours/week of direct therapy
  • Option to discuss different weekly billable hours and caseload sizes
  • Bonus opportunities for higher billable hours each week
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for children and adolescents diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities
  • Implement behavior management techniques and strategies to promote skill development and reduce problem behaviors
  • Supervise and train RBTs or other clinical staff in implementing behavior interventions and data collection procedures
  • Collect and analyze data on client progress and behavior outcomes to inform treatment planning and make adjustments as needed
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to families, caregivers, and other stakeholders involved in the client's care
  • Conduct services in the clinic, home, community, and/or school environments.


Board Certified Behavior Analyst Skills:

  • Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA/BCBA-D)
  • Experience working with children with special needs, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral principles, techniques, and strategies
  • Proficient in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing behavior interventions
  • Ability to collect and analyze data to evaluate client progress and make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients, families, coworkers, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to manage caseloads, documentation, and scheduling for themselves
  • Preference given to BCBAs trained in trauma-informed practices and compassionate ABA services (i.e., SBT, ACT, AIM, etc.)
