What are the responsibilities and job description for the International Logistics Coordinator position at Talmo & Associates, Inc?
Job Location: Manhattan Beach, CA
Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Pay rate: $28.00 / DOE
Requirements:
- Import / Export documentation experience
- Freight Forwarding experience highly preferred, clerical/administrative skills required
- MS Office Word, Outlook and Excel proficient
- Excellent communication skills, Highly organized, Excellent attention to details
- Able to pass background check and drug screen
Responsibilities:
- Invoicing, logistics and shipping control of all orders and successfully processed within the time frame required.
- Check data on invoices for accuracy such as Item type style, color, Item, etc. including prices.
- Resolve any prices and documents discrepancies
- Ensure Cargo Receipt is properly sign and dated and within the time frame required.
- Process or issues all necessary paperwork incl; instructions for transportation documents, certificates of origin, commercial invoices, packing lists and any other shipping docs originated from our Distributions Centers in the USA, Belgium locations, vendors, or suppliers.
- Processing all USA and Belgium Shipments creating Releases in Compass.
- Interact with Customer Service, Allocations, Customs Team, Finance Team, Retail Team, DC, EDC and/or any party involved to resolve any Compass download issue or discrepancy.
- Communicate with all International Customers, Carriers, Truckers, etc. to process and push for shipments from the USA, Belgium, Factories, or any other sources.
- Update shipment information into systems for proper tracking and balancing.
- Review documentation for completion. Monitor shipments for timely arrival at destination.
- Communicates any discrepancies to proper supervisor/manager.
- Interacts with appropriate personnel both within and outside the company in processing logistics and/or credit and payment activity.
