Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Nurse to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct regular audits of patient records to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Review medical documentation for accuracy and completeness, ensuring adherence to HIPAA guidelines.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to identify areas for improvement in patient care processes.
- Provide training and support to nursing staff on best practices in pain management, ostomy care, and other critical areas.
- Monitor patient outcomes and implement strategies to enhance quality of care.
- Participate in the development and implementation of quality assurance programs.
- Assist in the evaluation of new policies and procedures related to patient care.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
- Current nursing license in good standing.
- Experience in pain management, ostomy care, or home community care is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical office operations, emergency room (ER) protocols, and laboratory procedures.
- Proficiency in venipuncture and IV infusion techniques is a plus.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $30.01 per hour
