Outside Sales Representative – Packaging Solutions
Our client is seeking a driven and experienced Outside Sales Representative to join their growing team. They don't just sell packaging equipment or materials — they deliver complete packaging solutions designed to keep their customers' operations running smoothly.
The ideal candidate will bring 3–5 years of experience in packaging, equipment, materials, or supply chain solutions, a strong B2B sales background, and preferably an existing book of business to hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities
Drive New Business: Identify and develop opportunities within manufacturing, distribution, logistics, and other industrial sectors.
Grow Partnerships: Manage and expand existing accounts by offering tailored, end-to-end packaging solutions that combine machines, materials, service, and installation.
Consultative Selling: Conduct client visits, assess packaging workflows, and recommend equipment, consumables, and system integration solutions.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the client's factory-trained technicians and licensed installers to ensure seamless implementations and exceptional customer support.
Proposals & Presentations: Prepare and deliver proposals, quotes, and presentations to win new contracts and secure renewals.
Sales Management: Track pipeline activity in CRM, report on forecasts, and analyze wins/losses to refine strategy.
Industry Expertise: Stay ahead of packaging trends, competitor offerings, and technical updates to bring value-driven solutions to clients.
What We're Looking For
3–5 years of outside sales experience in packaging, industrial supply, or related fields.
Strong knowledge of packaging equipment, consumables, and distribution processes.
Proven success in building territory, developing accounts, and closing new business.
An existing book of business is strongly preferred.
A motivated self-starter with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Comfortable with CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and sales reporting.
Must hold a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
