Immediate opening for a Principal Hardware Engineer in Salem, NH who possesses:
- 12 years (or expert level) experience working with Siemens (e)Xpedition, DxDesigner
- FPGA experience required
- Experience working at an mil-aero company or aerospace experience
- Experience working as a consultant and/or has access to lab equipment such as oscilloscope, bench power supplies and a soldering station.

FULL DESCRIPTION:
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Apply independence and creativity to drive project design scope and deliverables
- Develop Functional Design Specifications
- Circuit design: Digital, Analog, and Power
- PCIe, DDR, Microprocessor, DSP, etc.
- I2C, SPI, PCIe, DDR3 , Ethernet, USB, CSI, DSI, etc.
- Analog/RF experience is a plus.
- BLE and/or WiFi experience a plus.
- Schematic Capture and Layout Review/Guidance/Management. Layout experience preferred.
- Pre&Post Signal and Power Integrity analysis (optional)
- FPGA and CPLD design (Verilog, VHDL)
- FPGA test benches and verification (ModelSim, Xilinx, Altera, etc.)
- Develop test plans/methods to ensure product reliability and performance targets are met
- Prototype bring up and system integration
- Working knowledge of EMC/CE/UL compliance requirements
- Software and Firmware development
The selected candidate will also possess:
- 12 years of experience
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Expert user of one or more of the following tools: Siemens DxDesigner (preferred), Altium, OrCad, and DxDesigner.
Salary Range: $90/hr
