At TalentWealth Recruiting, we partner with independent wealth management firms nationwide to attract and place top-tier professionals. Our client, a highly respected independent wealth management firm in Austin, TX overseeing approximately $1 billion in client assets, is seeking an experienced, sharp, and highly motivated Client Service Associate.
This role plays a key role in delivering a high-touch client experience and supporting the advisory team. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong client service skills, experience working with high-net-worth clients, and a background in life insurance and annuities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Client Service & Relationship Support
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client service requests, providing professional, responsive, and personalized support
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with high-net-worth clients and their families
- Coordinate client onboarding, account maintenance, and ongoing service needs
- Prepare client correspondence, follow-ups, and post-meeting action items
Custom Client Reporting & Account Updates
- Create custom client account update reports, including: Investment account summaries, Performance snapshots and asset allocation overviews, Contribution, distribution, and income tracking
- Customize reporting based on individual client preferences and complexity
- Assist advisors with meeting preparation by assembling tailored reports and presentation materials
Investment & Account Administration
- Assist with the setup and servicing of brokerage, advisory, retirement, trust, and managed accounts
- Process transactions, transfers, contributions, distributions, and required documentation
- Coordinate with custodians to ensure timely and accurate execution
- Monitor account activity and proactively identify service issues or follow-ups
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure all client documentation, forms, and records are complete, accurate, and compliant
- Maintain detailed CRM notes, service logs, and document storage
- Adhere to regulatory, firm, and carrier requirements
Team & Practice Support
- Collaborate closely with advisors and operations staff to support firm-wide goals
- Contribute to process improvements and service efficiencies as the firm grows
- Support special projects and evolving client service initiatives
Qualifications:
Required:
- 4-year degree
- General office practices, procedures, and methods.
- Investment concepts, practices, and procedures used in the securities industry.
- Financial markets and products.
- Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications to produce correspondence, reports, electronic communication, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Analyzing to be able to research account information.
- Organize, manage, and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
- Handle stressful situations and provide a high level of customer service in a calm and professional manner.
- Use appropriate interpersonal styles and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all organizational levels.
- Use mathematics sufficient to process account and transaction information.

Preferred:
- Experience with CRM, portfolio reporting, and custodial platforms
- Familiarity with financial planning, retirement, and estate planning concepts
- Experience in an independent RIA or hybrid advisory firm
Salary : $70,000 - $100,000
