Registered Client Service Associate

TalentWealth Recruiting, a boutique financial services recruiting firm, is recruiting for an exciting opportunity. An independent financial advisor practice with over $250MM AUM based in Biddeford, ME is hiring a Registered Client Service Associate to their growing team.

Our client is seeking a polished and organized professional with some experience in all areas of client and advisor support to join a successful and growing wealth management firm.

Some of the responsibilities would be:

• Manage all client inquiries and ad hoc requests such as account information, reporting, check request, wire/fund transfers and other account services requests.
• Work closely with the financial advisors to help them prepare for client meetings and ensuring that they have the most relevant information
• Complete all tasks related to the opening of new accounts, the transfer of accounts and closed account processing for the advisor's client base
• Coordinate and process all paperwork as needed for accounts and client relationship
• Maintain all client information and account records according to our electronic archiving procedure
• Document all client servicing activities on our portfolio management system according to firm procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Series 7 and 66 licenses preferred (or the 63 and 65 in lieu of the 66) or the ability to obtain within one year
• Experience and knowledge of defined contribution plans and retirement plans a plus
• 3 years of experience in client service or operations with a financial advisory practice
• Knowledge of financial services and investments industry
• Polished and organized
• Excellent verbal and written communication is required
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Strong initiative and work ethic, and an ability to work both within a team and on a self directed basis
• Ability and willingness to work additional hours if necessary to complete core responsibilities
