What are the responsibilities and job description for the Audit Manager position at TalentSource360?
This role requires 3 days in office. Very willing to consider relocation as well.
This is a hands-on audit leadership role sitting inside the corporate internal audit function of a global, publicly traded manufacturer. You are not just reviewing work here. You are running engagements, developing staff, and showing up as a credible partner to local and senior management across the Americas.
What the Role Actually Looks Like
The bulk of your time is split between operational audits and SOX testing. You will own engagements from planning through reporting, including risk assessment, building audit procedures, supervising other auditors day-to-day, and presenting findings directly to management. The work is integrated, meaning you are looking at financial controls and operational processes together rather than in silos.
On the risk side, you will help develop entity-level fraud risk assessments, identify process weaknesses, and make sure testing is concentrated where exposure is highest. Your reports do not just flag problems. They come with recommendations and you stay involved to make sure management actually follows through on their action plans. If remediation is off track, you escalate.
Roughly 15-20% of the role includes special projects, things like due diligence on acquisitions, integration work, rationalization studies, or process improvement initiatives. There is also potential to step in temporarily as a finance controller at a facility when the business needs it.
What They Are Looking For
4 to 6 years of experience in public accounting, or a combination of public accounting and manufacturing industry experience. CPA preferred. Strong US GAAP foundation and the ability to research and land on accounting conclusions independently.
Beyond the technical side, they need someone who can communicate clearly at all levels, write sharp audit reports, manage multiple engagements without dropping the ball, and coach less experienced staff. Frequent domestic and international travel is part of the job, so that has to be something you are genuinely comfortable with.
Market Pay plus bonus and LTI.
Salary : $125,000 - $175,000
