Job Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Estimator, based in Washington, DC. The Estimator will evaluate construction project requirements, prepare accurate cost estimates, analyze costs and materials, and review subcontractor proposals. Responsibilities also include collaborating with project teams, clients, and vendors, attending site visits, and ensuring compliance with specifications and budget constraints.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in project estimation, cost analysis, and bid preparation
- Experience with reviewing plans, specifications, and subcontractor quotes
- Strong proficiency in using estimation software and Microsoft Office tools
- Knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and industry standards
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy in project documentation
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- Experience in interior construction is a plus
