Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure continuous supply of competitively priced products across distribution centers.
- Negotiate and execute supplier agreements, including pricing, terms, and supply commitments.
- Develop and maintain supply matrices to achieve the lowest landed product cost.
- Monitor pricing compliance, review schedules, and resolve discrepancies.
- Evaluate supplier performance, capacity, and financial stability.
- Develop and implement short- and long-term category strategies.
- Support promotional and new product rollouts, including production schedules and timelines.
- Prepare reports and presentations for leadership and committees.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support business priorities and product innovation.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 4–6 years of direct, relevant purchasing or supply chain experience.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
