Responsibilities:
- Lead commercial construction projects from planning and preconstruction through completion and closeout.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and procurement plans.
- Coordinate architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives.
- Review plans, specifications, submittals, and change orders to support accurate execution.
- Monitor job-site progress, workmanship, safety practices, and compliance with project requirements.
- Identify risks and resolve project issues, delays, and cost variances in a timely manner.
- Provide regular project updates and maintain clear documentation for stakeholders.
Must-Have Skills:
- Substantial experience managing commercial construction projects from start to finish.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, project controls, scheduling, and cost management.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work.
- Proven leadership and communication skills across project teams and job-site stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of construction safety standards, quality control, and applicable building codes.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors, procurement, change management, and project closeout.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with retail, ground-up, office, renovation, church, or school projects, including K-12.
- Familiarity with project management software and construction scheduling tools.
