Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, maintenance coordination, and tenant relations.
- Oversee property leasing activities by marketing vacant units, conducting tours, and negotiating lease agreements to maximize occupancy.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Section 8, LIHTC, and other legal requirements.
- Utilize property management software (Yardi, OneSite) to maintain accurate records and financial reporting.
- Coordinate maintenance and facilities management using CMMS tools to uphold property standards and safety.
- Handle administrative responsibilities related to landlord-tenant law, legal contracts, lease enforcement, and documentation management.
- Resolve resident and stakeholder issues through effective conflict management and customer service.
- Conduct regular inspections, oversee vendors, and ensure timely resolution of maintenance concerns.
- Promote upselling opportunities to enhance tenant experience and increase property value.
Must-Have Skills:
- 1-2 years of property management experience
- Strong organizational, data entry, and administrative skills.
- Effective communication and conflict resolution abilities with a customer service focus.
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Prior experience managing multi-family assets
- Prior experience with LITHC / Affordable Housing assets
