As Privacy Counsel, you’ll partner with business and legal leaders to shape privacy strategy and guide compliance across an evolving regulatory landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Advise business teams on compliance with U.S. privacy laws and emerging regulations
- Assess privacy risks related to new products, features, and data use practices
- Lead privacy impact assessments and support mitigation of identified risks
- Review and negotiate data-related agreements, including vendor and data-sharing contracts
- Develop and maintain privacy policies, procedures, and internal guidance
- Support privacy training and awareness across the organization
- Assist with reporting on privacy program progress and compliance efforts
Must-Have Skills:
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
- 2-5 years' experience advising on privacy laws.
- Previous law firm experience.
- Proven expertise in drafting and negotiating complex contracts.
- Active license in CO.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification.
- Familiarity with privacy considerations in AdTech and digital media environments.
Salary : $150,000 - $220,000
