Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify individual needs, strengths, and areas for intervention.
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles.
- Provide ongoing supervision and training to behavior technicians and team members.
- Collaborate closely with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to set and monitor treatment goals.
- Collect and analyze behavioral data to measure progress and inform decision-making.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior support plans as needed.
- Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in ABA and related fields.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and interventions.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities.
Must-Have Skills:
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Strong knowledge of principles and practices of applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Experience conducting functional behavior assessments and developing intervention plans.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in behavioral data collection and analysis.
- Commitment to ethical conduct and ongoing professional development.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a BCBA.
- Experience providing training and supervision to behavior technicians.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of latest research in ABA and related therapeutic fields.
- Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation systems.
