Job Title: Litigation Counsel

Location: Hybrid (2-3 days onsite) - New York, NY

Salary: $190,000-$230,000

We are a leader in the software industry that develops cutting-edge mobility solutions! As Litigation Counsel, you will join a strong legal team solving complex legal issues. This role offers a chance to impact the litigation strategy of a high-growth tech company!

Responsibilities:

• Oversee each stage of litigation, including shaping overall strategy, managing discovery efforts, preparing and reviewing motions, and coordinating with outside counsel.
• Handle pre-litigation matters, including mediations and arbitration proceedings, to secure positive resolutions for the company.
• Create and improve internal workflows, guidelines, and resources to make litigation management more efficient.
• Provide guidance to teams across the organization on a wide range of regulatory and compliance matters at the local, state, and federal levels.
• Perform comprehensive legal analysis and research.
• Track and assess new laws, regulations, and policy changes that may impact the business.

Must-Have Skills:

• Juris Doctor degree from a top law school.
• Active bar membership in at least one U.S. state (NY is a plus).
• 5-10 years of litigation experience.
• Previous work as a federal prosecutor or in-house counsel within the technology sector.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in the technology/software industry.
• Background in employment or labor laws.
