Responsibilities:
- Manage a personal book of business and oversee client service duties for commercial insurance clients.
- Hire, train, and onboard new team members within the Commercial Lines department.
- Supervise, guide, and support Client Service Managers, Associates, and Coordinators.
- Handle day-to-day questions and problem-solving needs of the service team.
- Conduct and review quarterly quality assurance audits for accuracy and timeliness within the agency management system.
- Delegate departmental projects and assist with leadership initiatives implementation.
- Conduct employee performance evaluations and participate in salary review processes.
- Maintain and optimize Commercial Lines procedures and workflows to improve efficiency.
- Analyze team workloads and reallocate resources for balanced work distribution.
- Lead team meetings, communicate updates and initiatives, and coordinate continuing education opportunities.
Must-Have Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Commercial Property & Casualty insurance.
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license and ongoing continuing education.
- Proficiency with the Applied Epic agency management system.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and supervise a service team.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- College degree or advanced education in a relevant field.
- Experience developing and optimizing insurance workflows and procedures.
- Background in facilitating continuing education for insurance professionals.
- Experience conducting performance evaluations and managing salary review processes.
- Ability to analyze and balance team workloads effectively.
