Hybrid, NYC based (3 days in office)
$170k - $220k bonus equity
Talentedge are proud to be partnering with a category-leading Series D SaaS scaleup as they continue to build out their finance organization ahead of the next phase of growth.
Having successfully scaled through multiple funding rounds and established a significant market presence, the business is now focused on operational excellence, sustainable growth, and building the infrastructure required for a future liquidity event.
This is a highly visible role within the Finance team, partnering directly with senior leadership across the organization. You will own core planning processes, drive strategic decision-making, and provide the financial insights required to support continued expansion across multiple business units and geographies.
The successful candidate will play a key role in elevating the FP&A function, building sophisticated forecasting capabilities, and acting as a trusted business partner to executive stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
- Build and maintain sophisticated financial models covering ARR, bookings, revenue, cash flow, headcount, and operational performance
- Partner closely with executive leadership and departmental heads to support strategic decision-making
- Deliver monthly and quarterly business performance reporting, variance analysis, and actionable recommendations
- Prepare board materials, investor reporting, and executive-level presentations
- Monitor and analyze key SaaS metrics including ARR, NRR, GRR, CAC, LTV, Rule of 40, burn multiple, and operating leverage
- Support strategic initiatives including international expansion, pricing strategy, M&A evaluation, and capital allocation
- Drive improvements across planning systems, reporting infrastructure, and FP&A processes
- Partner with Accounting, RevOps, Data, and GTM teams to improve forecasting accuracy and business visibility
- Support readiness initiatives associated with future financing events and potential IPO preparation
Candidate profile:
- 6 years of experience within FP&A, Strategic Finance, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, or related fields
- Strong experience within SaaS, software, or recurring revenue business models
- Exceptional financial modelling and analytical capabilities
- Deep understanding of SaaS operating metrics and growth drivers
- Track record of partnering with senior leadership and influencing business decisions
- Experience operating within high-growth, data-driven environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts
Highly desirable:
- Series C, D, or pre-IPO scaleup experience
- Previous exposure to board reporting and investor communications
- Experience supporting fundraising, strategic finance, or M&A initiatives
- Advanced systems knowledge including NetSuite, Adaptive Planning, Pigment, Anaplan, or similar platforms
- Background in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or strategic finance
