The Medical Surgical RN is responsible for providing direct patient care to adult patients with a variety of medical conditions and post-surgical needs. Duties include:

Assignment Details
- Shift: Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Hours: 36 hours per week (3x12s)
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Floating and call required
- Start Date: ASAP
The Medical Surgical RN is responsible for providing direct patient care to adult patients with a variety of medical conditions and post-surgical needs. Duties include:
- Performing comprehensive patient assessments and monitoring vital signs
- Administering medications and IV therapies per physician orders
- Managing multiple patient assignments in a fast-paced acute care setting
- Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educating patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Documenting all care accurately in the EMR system
- Responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience
- Active RN license
- BLS & ACLS required
- PALS preferred
