Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to support patient care services at W. W. Hastings Hospital. This PRN/PD role is ideal for a flexible clinician experienced in evaluating and treating patients to improve daily living and functional independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical, cognitive, and functional abilities
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, coordination, and daily living skills
• Educate patients and families on therapy plans and home exercises
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license (state or compact if applicable)
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent OT experience
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently in a PRN setting
• BLS Certification (AHA preferred)
