- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and goals
- Provide skilled speech-language therapy using appropriate evidence-based techniques
- Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as clinically indicated
- Evaluate and treat communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with nursing, rehabilitation, dietary, and other interdisciplinary professionals
- Participate in care planning and communicate resident progress
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers regarding treatment strategies
- Promote patient safety, independence, communication, and quality of life
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Massachusetts SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA certification or eligibility preferred
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach
- Ability to work effectively independently and within an interdisciplinary team
