Evening Shift - 5 x 8s, typically M - F but possible weekend as well. 4pm to 12:30am. Strong data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately capture and code outpatient charges for timely billing.
• Review medical records to verify CPT/ICD codes and modifiers.
• Adhere to confidentiality and HIPAA/privacy requirements at all times.
• Identify and resolve coding discrepancies to minimize denials.
• Ensure compliance with payer policies and company coding guidelines.
• Maintain and monitor productivity pipeline to forecast revenue potential.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to obtain missing documentation.
• Maintain accurate audit trails and update patient/workflow records.
• Assist in monthly/quarterly revenue reporting and KPI tracking.
• Participate in training and professional development to advance skills.
• Escalate complex cases to senior staff for review and guidance.
• Support on-site team with daily huddles and performance updates.
  
  

Experience/Qualifications

• Accurate outpatient charge capture with CPT/ICD/modifier verification.
• HIPAA/privacy compliance and confidentiality throughout all tasks.
• Review medical records to validate coding against payer policies.
• Identify and resolve coding discrepancies to reduce denials.
• Maintain productivity pipeline and forecast revenue potential.
