Welder / Ironworker — Manassas, VAWe’re seeking a skilled Welder/Ironworker to join our team in Manassas, VA. In this role, you’ll help erect structural steel frames by reading blueprints, hoisting and positioning steel, and securing components through bolting or welding. This is a physically demanding position that requires balance, stamina, and a strong commitment to safety.ResponsibilitiesAssemble, erect, and align structural steel (beams, columns, girders) for buildings and other structuresBolt or weld steel components according to blueprints and project instructionsPerform GMAW/MIG welding and operate cutting torchesRead and interpret blueprints, sketches, and layout instructionsSignal crane operators to safely guide steel into positionOperate tools such as shears, hand tools, forklifts, and banding equipmentFollow all safety and quality standards; participate in safety meetingsQualificationsAbility to work at heights and in various weather conditionsPhysical strength, stamina, and balance for demanding tasksProficiency in welding, blueprint reading, and tool/equipment operationStrong knowledge of OSHA and general safety proceduresGood coordination, depth perception, problem-solving skills, and teamwork mindset
