- Education & Experience:
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years in wastewater treatment or related field
- At least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience in conflict management and employee relations
- Proficiency in wastewater treatment in manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of chemical processes and safety
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with laboratory practices and equipment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Essential Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage wastewater treatment teams across shifts
- Ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency
- Develop and maintain training materials and documentation
- Lead equipment troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
- Coordinate with engineering on system modifications
- Identify cost-saving and improvement opportunities
- Manage chemical procurement and hazardous waste activities
- Promote safety, communication, and teamwork
