Our client is seeking a senior technical leader who will build and guide a specialized team to enhance system reliability, availability, and scalability. This role involves strategic planning, engineering excellence, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless operations and compliance with industry standards. Candidate must be local to Charlotte and eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship. - Lead and mentor a specialized team focused on supporting critical infrastructure.
- Develop and execute a strategic roadmap to enhance reliability, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
- Implement advanced monitoring, alerting, and incident management processes.
- Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual tasks in infrastructure management.
- Collaborate with engineers and software development teams to embed reliability by design.
- Oversee capacity planning and performance optimization for efficient system scaling.
- Lead root cause analysis and post-incident reviews to implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory frameworks through security readiness.
- Promote the adoption of modern cloud-native technologies and infrastructure as code.
- Advocate for continuous training and knowledge sharing focused on system reliability.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven leadership experience managing site reliability engineering in critical infrastructure environments.
- Expertise in reliability engineering concepts, monitoring tools, and automation frameworks.
- Strong scripting and automation skills with tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements and security practices.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to translate complex technical challenges into strategic initiatives.
