Senior Project Manager - Strategic Initiatives (Remote)

About The Role

Join our client, a global leader in food and animal safety, as a Senior Project Manager for Strategic Initiatives. This remote role is pivotal in delivering high-impact, enterprise-wide programs that support the company's strategic growth objectives. Your expertise will guide complex projects across multiple functions and geographies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of strategic, enterprise-level projects to achieve long-term growth objectives.
• Manage program governance, scope, schedule, budget, dependencies, and risk management.
• Coordinate efforts across business units, regions, and external partners within a matrixed and global organizational model.
• Identify and articulate risks, issues, and interdependencies, recommending mitigation strategies.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, milestone tracking, and executive-level reporting.
• Communicate effectively with executive sponsors, steering committees, and operational teams.
• Provide data-driven recommendations and scenario analysis to facilitate decision-making.
• Ensure alignment between project outcomes, strategic priorities, and business value realization.
• Collaborate with functional leaders to manage change impacts and ensure successful adoption of delivered capabilities.
• Drive accountability while fostering collaboration and shared ownership across diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• PMP certification (active and in good standing).
• 8 years of experience leading large-scale, complex projects or programs, ideally in a regulated or global environment.
• Proven experience managing projects with multiple workstreams, competing priorities, and complex dependencies.
• Success in collaborating with global, cross-functional teams across time zones and cultures.
• Strong ability to identify risks early, escalate appropriately, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to senior and executive leadership.
• High level of business acumen with the ability to connect project execution to enterprise strategy.
• Experience delivering corporate-level strategic initiatives such as growth, transformation, integration, digital, or operational excellence programs (preferred).
• Experience working within a formal PMO or enterprise governance model (preferred).
• Familiarity with life sciences, food safety, diagnostics, or similarly complex industries (preferred).
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence without direct authority (preferred).

• Remote position located within Indiana, Michigan, or Ohio.
