Material Coordinator

Material Control Analyst

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       Responsible to control the flow of material from suppliers and offsite locations in the material store

·       Control the inventory levels to the minimum required based on shipping patterns

·       Maintain timely and accurate records of material delivery shipments from suppliers

·       Establish and maintain a systematic method for the ordering and delivery of daily production

·       Control on hand and incoming inventory volumes

·       Manage build outs and obsolescence

·       Assist in controlling transportation to allow rapid inventory turns and controlled flow of material across dock

·       Order material for new model build based on new product assembly schedules

·       Escalate delivery and quality problems to advance purchasing

·       Adhere to current industry quality standards

·       Complete other duties, tasks, or projects at the direction of the immediate supervisor

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

·       Two (2) years of purchasing or inventory management experience

·       Proficient in Microsoft 365, Outlook, and Microsoft Office Suite

·       Strong verbal and written communication skills

·       Able to work independently or in a group environment

·       Able to meet deadlines and complete accurate work without interruptions

·       Experience with SAP

PREFERRED SKILLS:

·      3-5 years of purchasing experience

·      Experience with Plex
