Fabricator
Full-Time | 1st Shift
Shift: 6am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday
Pay: $19-21/hr
Position Overview:
As a Fabricator at ESPEC, you will be responsible for cutting, forming, welding, and assembling metal components according to blueprints and production specifications. You will work closely with engineering and assembly teams to ensure all fabricated parts meet quality and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, cut, bend, and form metal parts using fabrication tools and machinery (saws, shears, brakes, etc.).
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Perform MIG/TIG welding on stainless steel and other metals as required.
- Assemble fabricated components into subassemblies or finished units.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy, fit, and finish of fabricated parts.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve fabrication or design issues.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and production procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous fabrication or metalworking experience required.
- Proficiency with fabrication tools, measuring instruments, and shop equipment.
- MIG/TIG welding experience preferred (or ability to learn).
- Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.
