Key Responsibilities
- Participate in application design, validation, and advanced design sessions.
- Analyze departmental workflows and translate operational needs into system configurations.
- Design, build, test, validate, and maintain assigned applications.
- Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to develop future-state workflows.
- Document test plans, testing outcomes, and system configurations.
- Support end users during implementation and go-live activities.
- Provide scheduled on-call support and troubleshoot application issues.
- Review and test software upgrades, enhancements, and releases before deployment.
- Maintain system documentation and training materials.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.
- Coordinate activities with team members and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, leadership teams, and external partners.
- Travel occasionally for training and support at remote locations as needed.
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BS Pharmacy) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution.
- Active Pharmacist license issued by the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required application certifications.
- 0-6 months of related experience required.
- Experience with healthcare applications, pharmacy systems, or clinical workflows is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic computer proficiency.
