We’re partnering with a highly respected, Birmingham-based corporate organization with a diverse business portfolio and multiple entities to add a newly created HR Administrator to their team. This role is a newly created role due to growth and created to play a key part in handling day-to-day HR operations - freeing leadership up to focus on more strategic initiatives.
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll take ownership of core HR administration including payroll processing (biweekly/monthly across multiple entities), benefits administration, onboarding/offboarding, and maintaining accurate employee records. You’ll also support 401(k) administration, reporting, compliance, and employee inquiries, while partnering closely with HR leadership on various projects.
What they’re looking for:
Someone with at least 1 year of HR, payroll, or benefits experience who understands the importance of accuracy, confidentiality, and deadlines. You don’t need a degree if you’ve got the experience. Strong Excel skills and comfort learning HRIS/payroll systems are key.
