We are partnering with a privately held company in the New York area that is looking to bring on a Vice President of Finance to lead their finance function. This role creates a unique opportunity to step into a highly visible leadership role with direct access to ownership and executive leadership.The VP of Finance will oversee the financial function, partner closely with leadership, and play a key role in guiding the company through continued growth and operational scaling.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Own and oversee the full finance function (FP&A, reporting, budgeting, forecasting)
- Partner directly with executive leadership on strategic decision-making
- Drive financial planning, performance analysis, and operational improvements
- Build and mentor a growing accounting/finance team
- Improve processes, systems, and financial visibility across the business
What They’re Looking For:
- 8–15 years of experience in finance/accounting
- Strong mix of FP&A operational finance experience
- Proven ability to partner with leadership and influence outcomes
- CPA or finance background is a plus
