The IT Account Manager is a client-focused, relationship-building role dedicated to ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and long-term growth. As a trusted advisor, youβll connect business goals with technology solutions across Managed IT services, VoIP, cybersecurity, and infrastructure.
Youβll lead strategic conversations, manage renewals and licensing, identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and collaborate with technical leaders. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Lewes, Delaware, reporting directly to the VP of Sales & Marketing β and offering strong growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding team. π

π° COMPENSATION PACKAGE
- Base Salary: $60,000
- Variable Compensation: 25% of total earnings
- OTE: ~$80,000
π οΈ ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- π€ Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned clients (non-support).
- π€ Build long-term, trust-based client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- π Lead client onboarding, implementation planning, and account transitions.
- π Conduct and lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with performance insights.
- π§© Collaborate with technical leaders on IT roadmaps and budget planning.
- π Identify and manage upsell/cross-sell opportunities across service lines.
- π Track contracts, renewals, licensing, and agreement health.
- ποΈ Maintain accurate CRM records and forecasting data.
- π§ Support content strategy and annual planning for client accounts.
- π£ Manage 100 accounts, prioritizing based on complexity and revenue.
- π Approximately 25% local travel for client meetings.
- π‘οΈ Advocate internally for client needs and ensure cross-team collaboration.
- π‘ Demonstrate strong customer service, strategic thinking, and follow-through.
π― REQUIREMENTS
- 2 years in account management, client success, or similar.
- πΌ MSP (Managed Service Provider) experience required.
- π Bachelorβs degree required.
- π¬ Excellent communication & client-facing skills.
- π₯οΈ Proficiency with CRM systems Microsoft Office.
- π§ Strong organization, time management & forecasting abilities.
- π·οΈ Ability to advise and sell at manager level and above.
- π Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- βοΈ Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts.

- β Willing to complete a drug screen & background check.
β¨ NICE TO HAVE
- β Experience with HubSpot.

π EDUCATION
- Bachelorβs degree required.

π’ WORKING CONDITIONS
- π Hybrid: 1-2 days peer week at the office.
- β° Schedule: 8:30 AM β 5:00 PM.
- π Increased onsite time during onboarding.
